Whether you’ve lived in East Van all your life or just moved in today, everyone is welcome to join Thirsty Thursday at 936 Clark. The brainchild of Chrystale Thompson and Jeremy Van Nieuwkerk of 936 Clark, Thirsty Thursday is a free monthly social for makers, thinkers, neighbours and friends. Drop by the second Thursday of every month to enjoy an immersive networking event that promotes building real, community relationships in a sincere and relaxed environment. It’s a place where you can engage with your local community while sampling a featured local brew.

Community engagement is key to supporting creative culture – 936 Clark is an open space that allows people to meet, find inspiration amongst your peers and share their stories in an engaging atmosphere with a beer in hand. Thirsty Thursday is a refreshing way to learn more about the people in your community, connect varied talents of our neighborhood, with the belief that great ideas can be sparked by new connections.

936 Clark will be hosting a very special edition of Thirsty Thursday in November to celebrate the beginning of the Eastside Culture Crawl’s annual 4-day visual arts festival. Join us to enjoy an exciting evening of craft beer, art and design on November 20 from 4:30-10pm. The event will feature 3 hand-selected breweries and a chance to be one of the first view the work of melk, Shrapnel and Jon Janzen Craft for this years Eastside Culture Crawl!

RSVP to the event and let us know what you’re looking forward to in this years Culture Crawl!
