It’s that time of year again when over 500 artists open their doors for the annual Eastside Culture Crawl Festival [November 14 – 17th]. Kick-off this years festival right by joining us for ’Thirsty Thursday’ — a free local event hosted by Melk, Ecstatic and Shrapnel, from 6-9PM on November 14th.
‘Thirsty Thursday’ is a free seasonal event for neighbours, creatives and local businesses, hosted by local companies Melk, Ecstatic and Shrapnel. The seasonal event was created in 2014 and is held at 936 Clark Drive. Its vision; to cultivate connection in our community by creating space for people to meet, find inspiration amongst peers, and share stories. It’s a refreshing way to learn more about the people in your community and connect varied talents of our neighbourhood.
Each Thirsty Thursday event features a local artist or musician, and purveyor of beer, cider, wine or spirits. Our partner at this years event is Loppolo brewery and we will be showcasing the hand-crafted work of Melk Art & Design.
Community engagement is key in supporting creative culture and local business. Thirsty Thursday brings together businesses and community in a unique and engaging way, leaving people more connected with the people in their neighbourhood. We hope you can join us.
