Melk is a creative collaboration developed by designers Chrystale Thompson and Jeremy van Nieuwkerk.
The work is experimental and design-led, utilizing sustainably sourced and reclaimed materials from projects created in the shop. Melk has continually drawn inspiration from nature and community spaces, yet, the true objective is to re-purpose materials that would otherwise be tossed out—giving new life and meaning to composite objects.
Melk artwork is designed and hand-crafted in our East Vancouver studio at 936 Clark Drive. Each piece is unique and often engraved, hand-printed, or painted—providing warmth and depth to any space it makes a home in.
